And so it begins!
Issue 1 of DC’s new 6 part series Dceased hits the ground running, within the first couple of pages you are thrown into what appears to be the end of a storyline with Darkseid and the entire Justice League, but this is far from the end of anything but the beginning of something else, something dark….
For those of you that are unsure as to what Dceased is, I could describe it as DCs version of Marvel zombies, but with a very different and current way of a virus being spread via technology/social media, which can be seen as a commentary on the world today, our phones making us zombies to reality….but that’s a discussion for another time!
I don’t want to spoil what happens in the comic because I genuinely think anyone who enjoys comics should check it out, with Tom Taylor writing, who also brought us the Injustice comics which are some of my favourite stories ever, you know it’s not going to follow the usual formula and I love it!! There is no let up in the first issue by the end of the it you’re already ready going what? how?? huh??? Noooooooo!! which is everything I love in comic. I’m very much looking forward to issue 2 and this whole run and can I say that already I want more!!
It was the sound of a Superman breaking the jaw of a God
