So as with the first episode, things in Seattle aren’t at their best, the tensions between humans and zombies are pretty much at an all time high with humans blaming zombies for the walling off of the city and zombies blaming humans for their, what can be best described as, lack of humanity towards them.
Rose McIvers Liv is back on form this week ingesting fitness guru brains, hence this weeks genius title, so we get an entire episode of one of those annoying people constantly working out or telling you how many calories are in whatever you’re eating, oh do i love those people!
Ravi is looking to help Peyton with their Zombie PR problem, I wont say how because its genius but he does get a little help from one of his D&D mates, I love how they’re still playing D&D even while everything goes on around them, can I join??
Major is stuck between a rock and a hard place at Filmore Graves, with his squad getting more annoyed at how they’re treated while he tries to keep them on the right track with how they deal with humans and human/zombie attacks, so much to digest……..;)
We had no Blaine or Donny this week but we did get the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as one of Seattle’s council members, as a huge basketball fan this made me geek out some!
So much is going on, the laughs are not as many as they used to be but still as good as they’ve ever been, instead we have a show that is dealing with a what is tantamount to racism, actions have greater consequences now and our zombie gang are front and centre.
While this week was relatively heavy next week looks super fun with a ‘dancing episode’ I think is the best way to describe it, this show is very good at that balancing act of heavy and emotional to light and fun, it’s just another reason why i love it, well that and Ravi because who doesn’t just love Ravi!!
