My Rating: 5 out of 5 🏹
We’ve reached episode 5 and we are taking a journey into Harley’s mind after her failure to make a decision on choosing an evil lair, causes a brain freeze. We journey through Harley’s treasured memories and her repressed memories and find plenty out about her. There’s even an appearance from Frankie Muniz! Yeah I know, random! Being hunted by an army of angry, evil little child Harley’s, the team has to escape the brain after their husks are found by Ivy’s landlord and taken for dead. He decides to get rid of the bodies by throwing them in a pizza oven. After a mistake by King Shark they end up in the optic nerve and uncover the landlords plan.
This was quite easy my favourite episode of the series so far. The humour is on point and the story is brilliant. It was brilliant to watch Harley rebuild her origin story and get it in line with the series itself. Dr. Psycho is the stand out character in this episode for me, once again delivering hysterical one liners and being so fantastically crud! I wasn’t overly impressed with the landlord scenes are they were a bit boring and the jokes failed in my opinion, however, these didn’t last long and it was integral to the story in this episode.
Once again Harley Quinn proves itself as one of the greatest DC animations made to date. Make sure you watch this series if you haven’t already, and catch up if your behind. Let’s get this awesome series the attention online that it deserves.
